OMG!! (and G is for Gosh)

Wait! Is that Brittany Spears??!! She's got the bun-on-top-of-her-head and everything! That has to be her.

Oh...wait. Never mind. It's just a *Belmont Resident .

* Definition: Belmont is a condo complex where the conceited and self centered gather to live. Most girls who reside at Belmont, idol anyone who is rich or has anything to do with fame and the men, as previously stated, tend to keep their shirts off as much as possible and enjoy cruising in yellow cars. They have almost no regard for obedience and money is never an issue. Tan skin and blonde hair is preferred. If you are a brunett, heavy eye make-up is required. You also don't have to know how to clean, change a vacuum bag, pay your own rent or follow any form of order to live here. All that is requested is that you know how to call your Daddy to solve all your problems. Throwing trash on the ground is perfectly acceptable and in some cases encouraged. Paint ball wars are held often in the common areas along with pudding fights and egging, and if a pool key is not handy, even though money is not an issue, jumping the fence is necessary. Being a sister to one of the girls on the reality TV show "The Hills" can get you anywhere here and booing the working staff is common. Keep in mind, this is only a stereotype and description does not fit all residents...but most.

1st Anniversary!

It's been a year! Don't we look happy?
We went to Park City for the weekend. It was stormy and beautiful.

I realize the above picture isn't that great, and it really doesn't justify the beautiful Park City...but deal with it. It's what we got.

And this is what happens when you try to take a picture of yourself and don't realize the zoom lense is in action.

And no, my hair is not naturally shaped that way...and it was windy. Isn't Tyler cute? I think so.

On main street there was a bear with abnormal body proportions. Tyler sat by it. Tyler looks awkward.

This is a dolled-up moose. That's me standing under it. I was going to take a picture by the bear too, but as we were standing 3 feet away from the bear, staring at it with camera in hand and trying to decide what the bear and I were going to be doing in the picture, some lady sat on the bench. It was a little uncomfortable so we moved on.
Then it haled.
Tyler and I were like, "What the hale?" Apparently, that pun never gets old.

So besides the awkward pictures and hale, here was our agenda:
  • Went to the Olympic Park where we watched skiers do flips into pools, and went down a cool slide...where I learned that I am a wuss and need to develope a need for speed.
  • Ate really good food.
  • Dropped our jaws at the price of a chair-lift
  • Had wings. It had been WAY too long since I had enjoyed a perfectly white-trash wing.
  • Saw Get Smart. We loved it and laughed a lot. However, we couldn't help but notice that we were the only ones laughing most of the time...not sure why.
  • Stayed the night in a King size bed...we miss it.
  • Struggled to take pictures. It's just not something that comes natural for either of us.
  • Noticed that everyone takes there dogs to Park City. We also noticed that there is more dog poo in Park City than Provo.
  • African children singing groups are cute...and if it were white people dancing and singing like that, it would be nerdy.
  • People are mean when it comes to finding a parking spot. We should have keyed her car.
  • In Kentucky, if you don't have a tatoo then you are a Mormon. We learned that from the guy in the deli that talked to every one.
  • Don't wet your dog, pet it, then eat something. It's repulsive.

We still love each other, more than ever actually. Yeah for Marriage! Yeah for Tyler!! Yeah for us!!!

And thanks to all those who remembered. We like feeling special.
