This is a picture of The Shins playing Bingo. James Mercer (lead singer and the star of my dream) is the second one in from the left...notice the intensity.

I love this picture of President Hinckley. I am sure going to miss him and his upbeat personality. I will miss seeing him beem with life at his old age and thinking "I hope I am that happy when I get old." Odds are against me. I complain about anything that kind of hurts, or kind of bugs me...I need to work on that. When Tyler and I found out about his passing last night we just sat there. It was hard to believe it had actually happened, even though we all were surprised every 6 months when he stood at the pulpit. What an example of everything he was. I think I like his sincerity and ability to be optimistic the most.
It is strange to think of another man being the President of the church. President Hickley is the only Prophet I can remember hearing in my life time so far. I felt close to him, even though I had never actually met him, but I felt he cared for me individually. I know I will be just as fond as the next called Prophet as I am of President Hinckley, but he will be missed. It seems like there has been so much change in the First Presidency and the Apostles, but yet the church stays the same. It is so great that we never have to worry about the truly important things changing. What a comfort that is.
By the way: Picture 1) my mom smiling when I made her re-take a picture for not smiling. Picture 2) My mom (left) and my aunt as the Hottie Police at my bridal shower. Picture 3) Mom and dad at halloween...doesn't she make the best costumes?
I know these postings are out of order...but I had to include this:

Isn't Christmas magical? Apparently.
Last night Tyler and I has the pleasure of listening to our upstairs neighboor sing "Everything I do, I do it for you" to his wife. Wow. He sang the wrong words, might I add. Tyler and I have made predictions of what we might think these people look and act like...like what genre these people would catergorize into. It sounds like they move furniture all day long and stomp around there house. I often hear techno and/or opera gay Josh Groban crap. She vacuums at 11:30 at night sometimes. That's normal. And my favorite thing about them: They like to giggle before bed time. I am sure they are super-nice, just loud, and sappy.
Or maybe he looks and acts like this:

Advice to neighboor: Leave it to Bryan Adams
